These terms and conditions apply to the use of the balloonzest.co.uk website and the
services provided by the BalloonZest company. These terms and conditions as
stated on the website are subject to change without prior notice. Please read
them carefully before using the website or placing an order to secure our
products and services. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions as
stated you should not use or access the website.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in
connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

1. OUR SERVICE GUARANTEE:
Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. If for any
reason we fail to provide you with a first class service or if you are unhappy
with any aspect of your order we advise you to contact us straightaway to tell
us how we have failed to meet your expectations.
Orders are made up on the basis of the detail you enter on the website
when you place your order and any subsequent emails we receive from you to add
to or amend these details. Delivery will be to the address you provide.
We cannot offer refunds for errors made by you within the ordering
process but we will always try to help and amend your order if time allows us
to do so.
When you select bespoke messages or wording or a name to be added to
your balloon please make sure the spelling is correct. Your balloon will be
made to order and the details you supply will be followed, literally to the
letter! On that basis mistakes that come to light after the balloon has been
made cannot be refunded. We are more than happy to make changes provided you
inform us before the customising process has been completed.
We guarantee our bubble balloons will stay inflated for a minimum period
of 10 days from the date of inflation (See also Section 5 Product Information).
Please note that when unpacked from a period in a cold transit environment the
balloon may appear underinflated. Please allow for the gas inside to come to
room temperature; approximately 20-60 minutes in a warm room should see the
balloon restored to its condition when it was inflated. (We do not overinflate
for cold environments as on warming the balloon can burst).
Any applied adhesive vinyl lettering may develop minor wrinkling because
of the size variation caused by temperature change and over time as the gas
slowly escapes from the balloon. This is not a fault and is unavoidable. A
little gentle smoothing will generally remove any wrinkles.
If for any other reason the balloon arrives in a less than perfect
condition we will replace it. Photographic evidence is required to support your
request and to allow us to claim against the courier if it has been damaged
All of our balloons are sent using a track and trace service. If a
balloon is lost in transit please contact us immediately so we can replace it
after raising the issue with the courier.
We know our balloons attract attention and people like to touch them! However
they are purely decorative and we advise that children and young people should
not be allowed to play with them. Not only can the balloons lose their float
height but burst balloons can present a serious choke hazard for the very young
We strongly advise against inhaling helium from a balloon. Inhaling
helium to alter voice pitch carries a very real risk of developing stroke-like
symptoms and even death by asphyxiation. We cannot accept any liability for
personal injury arising from such activity.
With regret we are not able to send our balloons outside the UK. Neither
are we able to send balloons to Northern Ireland as they do not survive the
Our bubble balloon service includes the delivery charge for a 48 hour
service Monday to Friday for addresses in the mainland UK which excludes the
Scottish Highland and Islands and the Channel Islands. Delivery to these areas
can be commissioned but at additional cost – please contact us before placing
your order so that we can advise you what the extra payment would be.
You should note that delivery to Scotland normally takes an extra day
(even with the guaranteed delivery service). Please consider this when placing
your order so that your order can arrive on time.
Our couriers make additional charges for services such as next day
delivery, delivery on a specific date (Mon – Fri only). Saturday delivery
carries an even higher charge. While we can arrange these services with our
couriers we regret that we have to pass the additional charge(s) on to our
customers. Again please contact us before placing your order so that we can
advise you of this additional cost before you place your order.
We work closely with you, your wedding / party planner or the event
coordinator at your selected venue or premises when you place an order for
event décor. An order is secured when a deposit (20%) has been taken and all
details of the order have been confirmed by you by email.
4. CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER
If you have any changes or amendments you would like to make to your
order please let us know immediately by email or telephone. Please be ready to
quote your order number to help with identification.
If you wish to cancel your order with us then please inform us as soon
as possible by email to email@example.com with CANCEL in the subject
line. Please quote your order number and use the same email account that you
used to place the original order as this helps us to identify you.
In keeping with the online and distance selling legislation you can
cancel your order within 14 days of placing the order without having to give a

preparing your order before notice of cancellation was received. We consider
these to be reasonable costs that you will still need to pay for our services.
5. REFUND POLICY
Refunds will normally be processed within 7 working days and will be
credited to your original method of payment.
Refunds will generally be paid in full unless the order was amended or
cancelled AFTER materials specific to your order have been purchased by us, in
which case the cost of these materials will be deducted from the full refund
6. PRODUCT INFORMATION
BalloonZest is committed to providing creative and eye-catching balloon
displays and décor to the very highest standard in the industry. Balloon
displays are susceptible to environmental conditions and changes. Latex
balloons can become dull through oxidation on exposure to the elements, even
when treated with surface protectants, particularly if the display is mounted
outside. We would normally expect latex balloons in an external environment to
have a life of 3 days maximum.
Our bubble balloons are filled with industry quality balloon helium and
stay afloat for 10 days from the date they are inflated.
7. PAYMENT DETAILS
Orders for balloon décor for events are accepted on receipt of a 20%
deposit with the balance payable 7 days prior to the date of your event.
Orders made through the website for our bubble balloons have to be paid
in full at the time of ordering.
We accept payment by PayPal.
PayPal offer non-account holders a facility to pay through them using a
credit or debit card.
We are unable to accept payment in cash except with personal callers or
where we deliver your order to you.
We take the issue of customer privacy very seriously and are committed
to maintaining your personal details in a secure and professional manner.
When you purchase a product from our website we will collect:
§ Your name and contact
information (address, telephone number(s), email address)
§ Billing / payment details
§ Delivery details
We will use this information to complete your order and to enable us to
contact you about your order should such need arise.
BalloonZest will NOT, at any point, ask you to provide personal
information regarding your payment method by email. If you get such a request
be assured it is NOT genuine and has not been sent by us. We will only take
payment details from you via a protected secure page on our website.
We will not pass your personal information on to any third party
organisation unless required to do so by Law.
We do photograph your balloon order prior to dispatch. This is to ensure
the condition of your order when it leaves us. These images do not reveal any
personal information about you. Selected images may be used for marketing
purposes on our website, in our printed literature and on social media.
You will be asked if you would like to receive marketing information and
details of new products, promotions, special offers for existing customers and

You can request details of any personal information we hold about you
under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable.
